Application:

Iron Grey GRP Roofing Topcoat is easy to apply using a roller or brush. It should be applied to a dry, dust-free surface that has been sanded with 40-grade sandpaper and wiped clean with acetone. The recommended application rate is 0.6 kg per m². For optimum performance, the top-coat should be applied in 1 coat, 

Roof Paint Grey 5kg Coverage:

The coverage of Iron Grey GRP Roofing Topcoat depends on the thickness of the application. A wet film thickness of 500 to 600 microns will provide the desired characteristics in the finished structure. The coverage for each size container is as follows:

  • 5 kg: 8.3 m²

  • 10 kg: 16.6 m²

  • 20 kg: 33.2 m²

Safety and Precautions:

When using Iron Grey GRP Roofing Topcoat, it is important to wear gloves and eye protection to prevent skin contact and eye irritation. The product should be used in a well-ventilated area. Keep out of reach of children and pets.

ResiRoof Catalyst:

Iron Grey GRP Roofing Topcoat requires the use of ResiRoof Catalyst to cure properly. The catalyst should be added to the top-coat at a rate of 2% by volume. For example, you would add 20 ml of catalyst per kg of top-coat.
