This high-quality roofing topcoat in a striking grey shade is specifically designed for use in conjunction with our GRP fibreglass matting and resin system. It offers superior waterproofing protection for both flat and sloping roofs, ensuring your home is safeguarded from the elements.

Application:

For optimal results, apply the topcoat to a dry, dust-free fibreglass surface that has been sanded with 40-grade sandpaper and wiped clean with acetone. Use a short pile roller for the main roof areas, and a brush for edges and corners. The recommended application rate is 0.6 kg per m². For two coats, allow each coat to dry completely before applying the next.

Coverage:

The coverage of this topcoat depends on the thickness of the application. A wet film thickness of 500 to 600 microns is ideal for achieving the desired characteristics in the finished structure. With 0.6 kg per m² coverage, this 10 kg container can cover an area of 16.6 m².

Safety and Precautions:

Always wear gloves and eye protection when handling this product to prevent skin contact and eye irritation. Apply in a well-ventilated area. Keep out of reach of children and pets.

ResiRoof Catalyst:

This topcoat requires the addition of ResiRoof Catalyst for proper curing. The catalyst should be added at a rate of 2% by volume. For example, you would add 20 ml of catalyst per kg of topcoat.
